Dr. Mercedes R. Del Valle is a popular cosmetic, implant and Family dentist in downtown Eugene, Oregon. She is also in the process of becoming a Certified Orofacial Myologist as well, to provide orofacial myofunctional therapy services to children of all ages and adults.
Her extensive background in the dental field as a General Dentist has encompassed 27 years of clinical practice in periodontal, general and pediatric private practice settings.
She is trained and offers a large number of dental services including in Dental Implants, Periodontal Treatment and Gum Plastic Surgery (Periodontics), Orthodontics and alternatives to braces, Smile Makeovers, Sedation Dentistry, painless Computerized Anesthesia, Oral Surgery, Bruxism/TMJ/TMD pain management, Oral medicine with airway assessment and treatments, Root Canals (Endodontics), Crowns, Bridges, Dentures (Fixed and Removable) and of course, Pediatric Dentistry in Eugene, Oregon. Dr. Mercedes Del Valle’s professional experience, her dedication to promoting preventive and early intervention methodologies as well as her passion for helping others achieve optimal growth and health, combine to provide her patients with the utmost in supportive and compassionate care.

Dr. Del Valle was born in the commonwealth of Puerto Rico, a territory of the United States of America in the Caribbean. She did her undergraduate studies in the prestigious University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan and earned a Bachelor of Science in Sociology. She then continued her education at The University of Iowa College of Dentistry where she got her doctorate degree in Dental Surgery and completed a one-year residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry.
In addition to her doctorate degree in dentistry, she has completed more than 2400 hours of continuing education. She has completed specialized training from Oral Sedation Seminars, and Implant Seminars. She was awarded with the title of Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry in 2008 and Fellow of the International Dental Implants Association in 2014. She is a certified Vivos ®, Myobrace®, and Fastbraces® Provider.

She maintains active memberships with The American Dental Association, She is currently the president of the Lane County Dental Society, The Oregon Dental Association, the Lane County Dental Society, The Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, The Seattle Study Club, The Exploring Excellence Study Club, and the International Dental Implants Association.

In her spare time, Dr. Del Valle enjoys gardening, hiking, bicycling, and spending time with her husband, her two children, her mother and her two dogs.
